Continuum mechanics on arbitrary moving domains
In the Fall of 2007, I taught a short course at Sandia Albuquerque on the continuum mechanics foundations of arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian methods. Lecture notes including exercises and references to further readings can be downloaded from the link below. The idea of teaching this course came from the realization that this material is scattered in a vaste and non-uniform literature, and no single review article or book is truly comprehensive in the treatment. For very much appreciated comments and suggestions send an email to: gscovaz@sandia.gov
