I work in the Center for Computation, Computers, and Mathematics (CCIM) at Sandia National Laboratories. My work is in mathematics and computation typically applied to problems in biology and chemistry. My Erdos number is four (S. Martin - R. D. Carr - S. Vempala - L. Lovasz - P. Erdos). I have worked on DNA microarray analysis, genetic network inference, drug and polymer design, prediction of protein interactions, prediction of protein secondary structure, analysis of scale free networks, and materials design. I also have experience with support vector machines and pattern recognition, including graph drawing and dimension reduction.
