Nevada is an ASC software environment and framework upon which applications can be based. It provides the following capabilities:

• Finite element mesh support
• Registration of variables on topological entities
• Modular free-form input parsing with error checking
• Integrated access to several third-party library packages including:
• Trilinos software packages including multilevel solvers
• Zoltan load-balancing
• ACME Contact
• Material models
• CTH equation of state libraries
• Output capabilities including Lagrangian and Eulerian tracers and Exodus mesh data
• Mesh smoothing and local data remapping functionality
