Complex chemically reacting flow simulations are important for many critical technology areas of interest to federal agencies such as DOE, DOD, and ARPA, and to U.S. industry. These areas include: combustion research for transportation, atmospheric chemistry modeling for pollution studies, chemically reacting flow models for analysis and control of manufacturing processes, surface catalytic reactors for methane to methanol conversion and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process modeling for production of advanced semiconductor materials.
