Title: Numerical methods for interface and contact problems Location: Building 98, Room 95 (Sandia NM) Brief Abstract: The numerical simulation of fluid structure interaction problems in large deformation or of rolling tyres in rotation require - the derivation of energy conserving time integration schemes in presence of nonlinear kinematic constraints such as incompressibility and contact, - proper handling of the weak continuity constraint at the structure interface both with an internal fluid, and with a rigid obstacle.
