Brief Abstract: DAFCA Inc. is an EDA software company focused on post-silicon debug.  We have developed a reconfigurable infrastructure platform - flexible on-chip instrumentation - that features trace, cross-triggering, and even dynamically configured assertions.  Our scalable instruments are inserted pre-silicon at RTL as part of the ordinary HDL synthesis flow, and are based on standard cell libraries.  Post-silicon, we are integrated with the familiar Novas interface (that is, engineers see the same front end for both PRE- and POST-silicon debug, including back-tracking from waveforms to RTL source).  DAFCA has delivered beta software for paid evaluations to two large IDM's, and the purpose of this presentation is to identify a project that we can work on jointly with Sandia.  While our focus is bit-level observability in large SoC devices, we are also keen to explore possibilities in HW/SW co-debug.
