Brief Abstract: From the very beginning of the Trilinos project software engineering processes have been a core focus area.  At the same time, we have taken a pragmatic, organic approach to improving software practices and tools.  In this presentation we provide an overview of the state of software engineering in the Trilinos project, its history and some ideas for where we can grow in the future.
