This workshop will aim to stimulate an open discussion about the future of numerical PDEs and their continuing viability as a modeling and simulation tool. A particular focus will be placed on identifying promising trends and research directions. To achieve this goal we will use a dual approach when inviting the participants and the speakers: on the one hand, we will invite researchers that have broad interests in computational science and whose contributions to the subject have had significant impact on numerical PDEs. On the other hand, we will focus on identifying individuals that share research interests. In this way, the workshop gathers speakers and participants that naturally form links and relationships between diverse individuals so that interactions are facilitated. Organizing Committee:
