Logistics

The conference will be held August 14-16, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa located in Santa Ana Pueblo by Bernalillo. It is approximately 28 miles from the Albuquerque Sunport Airport.

The workshop will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the workshop all three days. Dinner will be provided on August 14th and 15th. If you have any food restrictions, let us know prior to the workshop so we can work with the hotel staff to accommodate you.

Hotel Reservations:
To guarantee the group rate, please make your reservation by the cut-off date of July 13, 2007.

All reservations must be made individually through the Hotel's Reservation Department by calling (505) 867-1234 or 800-233-1234. Tell them you are with the Mathematical Methods for Verification and Validation group to receive the $99 rate or you can make your reservations on-line at: http://tamaya.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp. In the field "Group/Corporate#" please put in G-SNLC to receive the $99 rate.

Rental Car/Shuttle Service:
If you rent a car, please use AVIS car rental, as they carry the extended insurance at no extra cost to Sandians and contractors. The AVIS discount number is A134500. AVIS is the only car rental agency Sandia will reimburse if there is any reason to submit a claim for accident or damage.

NewMexiTour offers charters to and from the Albuquerque Sunport and Tamaya Resort. Charters leave at the top of each hour and run $40.00. They also offer private car service at $69.72. Reservations are required for charters and private car service. They need at least a day's notice. 505-771-3739.

Reimbursement:
Sandia National Laboratories will only reimburse academic attendees with whom we have a no-fee agreement signed PRIOR to the meeting. If your expenses are being reimbursed by Sandia, you will receive a reimbursement voucher at the workshop. It is important that you submit your expense voucher as soon as possible after the workshop. The workshop coordinators, Bernadette and Deanna will be available to assist you in filling out the expense report. We will reimburse travel expenses up to $978.00.

Bernadette and Deanna will contact eligible academic attendees and have them complete a No-Fee Agreement form prior to the workshop. This form is needed for Sandia to reimburse your travel expenses.
