John Morrison has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory since 1971. He is the Division Director for the Computing, Communications and Networking Division. Has served as Acting Division Director and as Deputy Division Director for Strategic Computing in the former Computing, Information and Communications Division. He led a multidisciplinary team that procured the 30 TeraOps computer system and another team that recently renegotiated the Q machine contract. From 1997-1998 he was on a change-of-station assignment to the Strategic Computing and Simulation Office (Dr. Gil Weigand), Defense Programs (DP-50), Department of Energy.
