| Jan Silverman
joined Cray in November 2005 as Senior Vice President of Corporate
Strategy and Business Development. In
this capacity, he drives the company's business and marketing strategies
and leads Cray's product management and marketing organizations.
Silverman has 20 years of computer systems experience and previously
held senior management and R&D positions at SGI, Hewlett-Packard,
Apollo Computer and Lockheed Martin. At SGI, he was Senior Vice President
of worldwide marketing focusing on industry-specific business development,
product marketing, IP and OEM licensing. Before joining SGI, Silverman
held senior product marketing positions in Hewlett-Packard's server
and workstation groups and also led the company's early Internet
program and microprocessor strategy. At Lockheed Martin, he was a
senior software engineer and holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. degree in computer
science from Lehigh University. |
