Andy Yoo is a Computer Scientist in the Center for Applied Scientific
Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. At Livermore,
he has worked on numerous projects on system software and run-time
systems development for their parallel computers. He currently works
on developing a distributed parallel graph search engine for massive
semantic networks. His research interests include distributed and out-of-core
graph search methods, data-intensive computing, knowledge discovery,
high-performance parallel systems, performance evaluation and tools.
Andy Yoo received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering
from Pennsylvania State University in 1998 and M.S. degree in computer
science from SUNY at Buffalo in 1988. He is a member of the ACM and IEEE
Computer Society.
