Optional Activities

If you want to explore New Mexico and Albuquerque you can come one day earlier and/or stay one day more at your own expense [$65 per night (single room) at Wyndham].

Tuesday Evening
Tram ride (http://www.sandiapeak.com/tramway.html) and dinner at the High Finance Restaurant (http://www.sandiapeak.com/dining.html) on top of the Sandia Peak ($10 Tram + restaurant bill).

Wednesday Morning
We may also arrange short trips to nearby Albuquerque attractions for Wednesday morning (before the workshop starting time at 12:00pm).

Friday Afternoon/Evening/Night
Trip to the Santa Fe Opera (http://santafeopera.org/) for "La Traviata" ($90 Ticket + $30 Bus ride + $38 Preview Buffet).

Weekend of August 17 and 18
The famous Indian Market is held in Santa Fe August 17 and 18, (http://www.swaia.org/indianmrkt.html). We will not arrange something special but recommend a visit if you are still in town.
