Dr. Alok Choudhary is a professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA. He also teaches in the Kellogg School of Management, where he teaches Business Intelligence and Data Mining applications for different businesses. He received his PhD from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 1989, M.S. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and BE from BITS, Pilani, India, in 1982. He has been a recipient of the NSF Young Investigator award, IEEE Engineering Foundation award, an IBM Faculty Development award and an Intel Research Council award. He has published more than 250 papers in various journals and conferences in the above areas. He has also written a book and several book chapters on the above topics.
