Mike McGlaun leads the Computational Simulation Sciences Group in Sandia's Engineering Sciences Center. He also leads the Accelerated Strategic Computing Initiative (ASCI) Advanced Applications Development Program and ASCI's Material and Physics Models Program. Mike has worked in several areas since joining Sandia in 1976. He has had the good fortune to work in shock physics, electro-mechanical physics, severe accidents in commercial nuclear power plants, computer security and high-performance computing.
