Robert Thomas is currently program manager for the Advanced Simulation and Computing Program (ASCI) at Sandia National Laboratories. He has over 15 years' experience in research and development, 10 years in technical management, and 5 years in technical program management, all in the area of physics-based modeling and simulation. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
