Paul Yarrington is Manager of the Code
Development and Applications Group in the Computation, Computers, Information
and Mathematics Center at Sandia National Laboratories. He has responsibility
for organizing and managing the Computer Science Research Foundation activities
at Sandia, under which R&D studies are conducted on advanced computer architectures,
methods, and enabling technologies. His technical work has been in the area of
development and application of computational methods for nuclear and conventional
weapons effects analyses. His work in this area has been published in various
classified and unclassified journals and reports. He joined Sandia National Laboratories
in 1974, after earning BS and Ph.D. degrees in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
and an MS degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
