Infrastructure
Infrastructure models
examine the operations of infrastructure networks related to crucial distribution,
such as the flow of commodities, energy and information. Agent-based models of
such networks simulate network operations under normal conditions, as well as
the impact on operations resulting from
failures and changes in the conditions. Our models often link different types
of infrastructures (e.g. Telecommunications, electric power, etc.) into overarching
logistics models and incorporate market models to derive the evolving costs and
rewards facing each entity. Contact: David Schoenwald, 505-284-6285; daschoe@sandia.gov
