chits module

• backup_chits_databases   -   back up all active CHITS databases
• chits_dbconf   -   command line tool for managing CHITS database instances.
• chits_userconf   -   command line tool for managing CHITS user accounts and access.
• set_additional_components   -   add somewhat standard, yet optional hardware components to devices in the CHITS Hardware_Type table.

cplant module

• cplant_probe_node   -   see if a node is there, and if so, is it the one we expected

diag module

• cluster_hw_test   -   test the list of devices/collections as a cluster unit
• node_hw_analyze   -   parse through the results of node_hw_test and check them against known tolerances
• node_hw_test   -   perform individual node benchmarks, write results to files
• ripple   -   power cycle nodes IN ORDER to verify the serial cables are wired to the terminal server correctly.
• show_disks   -   check for disks in Alphas that should be diskless
• show_fan   -   checks the fan speed on a node or collection of nodes

diskfull module

• build_diskfull   -   set up a node for diskfull boot.
• cclone   -   utility to clone/install diskfull nodes in a CIT cluster

diskless module

• get_mount_dir   -   determine the directory path for mounting diskless nodes' individual file systems

distros module

• chroot_distro   -   a customized EchrootE for CIT distros
• citsshkeyscan   -   Gather OpenSSH public keys from within a CIT cluster

extras module

• build_lightos   -   A utility that helps to generate a working light-os, including an working initrd containing the buildroot environment

myrinet module

• countmapped   -   Check the results of the GM mapper to quickly see how many nodes were mapped, and try to determine which nodes were NOT mapped.
• create_gmpi_conf   -   build the gmpiconf file that tells mpirun which nodes to use
• gm_crawl   -   self ping over myrinet, going hop by hop on a specified route
• gm_crc   -   examine the packet counters on the myrinet cards and save them to a file.
• gm_file_map   -   Run the GM file mapper on the current node
• gm_mpi_kill   -   Remove stale MPI jobs from a node
• gm_ping   -   ping a node over myrinet
• gm_ping_all   -   ping all nodes in the map file over myrinet
• gm_probe_node   -   ping a node over myrinet and make sure the expected hostname is returned
• gm_troute   -   Perform a self ping over a specified route
• mesh_mapper   -   generate myrinet map and routes for any regular N dimention mesh.

• order_routes   -   re-order nodes in a mapper.routes file for optimal NID order
