run.mapper - launch the GM active mapper and deal with log files
myrinet
run.mapper [ --help ] [ --restart ]
This script simply launches the GM mapper and deals with output files.
Uses active.args file in /cluster/rte/<vmname>/config
Must be run from the mappernode.
--help Print manpage.
--restart Reload the myrinet driver the mappernode to completely clear stale routes Simply does the following: /cluster/rte/rte stop /cluster/rte/rte start
Use the "--restart" option if you are re-mapping the network after major changes to it or you have selected a new mapper node.
Map, route, and host files are written to /tmp/gm_mapper/ on the mappernode. If you want to use them for "file mapping", rcp or scp them to the admin node and put them in /cluster/rte/<vmname>/config.
There can only be one active mapper, so the mappernode is set in /cluster/rte/<vmname>/config/mappernode
/cluster/rte/<vmname>/config/active.args /tmp/gm_mapper/mapper.map /tmp/gm_mapper/mapper.routes /tmp/gm_mapper/mapper.hosts /tmp/gm_mapper/mapper.counters /tmp/gm_mapper/mapper.log.full
