vping is a two-way ping utility for myrinet on Cplant. It is run on a service or compute node to test the myrinet connection to another machine. It takes as argument the node id of the other machine. vping relies on the Cplant rtscts myrinet driver/module running on the machines in question.
vping must be run as the superuser.
