When a parallel application completes, yod will log the node usage to a log file. This logging by default goes to the file /tmp/userlog. The location can be changed by defining the environment variable LOGFILENAME or setting the analygous site file entry. Logging works best if the user log file is a different file for each service node.
The bebopd logs user activity in a file with format identical to the user logs on ASCI Red. The log file is written to the same directory that the yod user log file is written. The file name is run.log.mm-dd-yy. There is no way to override this file name. It is the same file name as that given the user logs on ASCI Red.
