When the application load fails because of a problem with one or more compute nodes, yod will try again, up to three times. This is because such problems are often intermittent, and retrying has a good chance of success.
To prevent yod from retrying the load, you can set the environment variable YODRETRYCOUNT to 0 (zero). This is an environment variable that yod checks to see how many more times it should retry the load. yod decrements the value by one prior to each retry. By default it is set initially to 3.
