Start it up

Now you should be able to start the virtual machine. Depending on what cluster management software you are using, you may need to run a script that updates the leader nodes with the VM software tree. Then you must reboot the service and compute nodes in the VM. (Again, there is a script to do this, depending on what cluster management software you use.)

After a minute or so, log in to a service node and run pingd. You should see a display listing the compute nodes in the VM. If they are not all listed, it is possible they have not finished coming up yet.
