Applications for Participation in the Computer Science Research Institute

The Computer Science Research Institute at Sandia National Laboratories is now accepting applications. An application should include the following:

Resume
Statement of participation
Names of three references

The resume must specify the applicant’s citizenship. However, participation in the Computer Science Research Institute is not restricted to U.S. citizens.The statement of participation should describe how the applicant plans to participate in the Computer Science Research Institute. This would include a statement of research interests and any specific research proposals. It might also include:

A list of potential collaborations either with other institute visitors (including potential visitors) or with Sandia staff.
Proposals to organize or to participate in workshops.
Any non-technical details of participation, for example the type (e.g., sabbatical, post-doc, summer faculty) and length of participation, and the location of the proposed visit (Albuquerque, NM or Livermore, CA).

Submission

Applications may be submitted at any time. Applications for U.S. citizens should be received at least two months in advance of the proposed visit; applications from non-U.S. citizens must be received at least three months in advance of the proposed visit.
