Pizza.py WWW Site
Pizza.py mailing list
A mailing list for
Pizza.py is available on the Pizza.py project
page at
SourceForge.
Anyone can post messages to the list or browse/search previous
questions/answers in the archives. If you subscribe to the list you
can get emails when people post to the list and can reply with a
response.
A couple of the Pizza.py developers try to respond to posted questions
in a timely manner, but no guarantees. If you want to subscribe and
answer questions yourself, that would be great!
Here are ways to use the mailing list:
- Anyone can view and search previously posted messages by browsing the
archives
The "search" option is under the "Mailing Lists" tab, immediately
above the calendar.
- Anyone can post a message or question by sending email to
pizza-py-users@lists.sourceforge.net. There is a 200K limit on the
size of your message so don't include big files. When someone replies
you will get an email, and the reply will appear in the new thread
your message started. Posting a message sends email to subscribers
immediately, but it can take a few hours for postings and replies to
show up in the archive.
- To subscribe to the mailing list, visit this
page. After you
subscribe, you will be sent a confirmation email. When you reply,
your subscription is enabled. You can changes settings for your
subscription or unsubscribe from the same
page. By default you
get an email each time someone posts to the list. If you reply to a
message, the person who posted it will get your response. If you also
send or CC your response to pizza-py-users@lists.sourceforge.net
(e.g. reply-all) it will be archived in the same thread.
- As far as I know, there is no way to reply to a posting unless you are
a subscriber.
